Ten week intensive Moonyah Accelerated Trauma Resolution Programme.

Following Assessment, if individuals are eligible they can enrol in the ten week intensive specialized Accelerated Recovery Programme.

This programme is based on cutting edge and validated trauma resolution therapies and techniques.

 

Ten week intensive Moonyah Accelerated Trauma Resolution Programme:

The ten week intensive programme consists of a variety of the right and left brain interventions necessary for trauma resolution.

Programme includes:

  • Assessment: including three psychological surveys (to be repeated...prior, middle and end of the course and (where possible six months later to continually validate the value of the Programme.
     

  • Therapy twice a week for ten weeks including: (where appropriate)
     

    • Attending a group therapy session one night a week

    • Participating in 3 Accelerated Trauma Recovery workshops

    • Attending yoga or tai chi x 1 a week

    • Addiction meeting if appropriate

    • Attending a mindfulness / trauma recovery group
       

  • The following trauma resolution therapies  and techniques will be utilised:
     

    • Flashback and hyper-arousal containment strategies - Emdr, TFT etc

    • Dissociation and hypo-arousal management -
      Posturing strength breath and sound
       

  • Mindfulness skills - mindful orientated psychotherapy
     

  • Trauma psycho-education
     

  • Body orientated psychotherapy (sensorimotor work)
     

  • Trauma aftermath adaptation and maladaption awareness therapy
     

  • Family of origin / systems and family therapy - if sought
     

  • Insight orientated trauma resolution work
     

  • Mindfulness training, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
     

  • Relationship work
     

  • Psychodynamic Psychotherapy
     

  • CBT

    This is an intensive programme suitable for most individuals with a trauma history and is specifically designed so as to not exclude working individuals
